Description:
This silver version is a custom-made variation from the original black puzzle. Quality is excellent, and it is made in small production runs by a specialist puzzle manufacturer. It is a "must have" for the collection of any puzzle enthusiast. Ernö Rubik was granted a Hungarian patent this amazing puzzle on 19th March 1985. It consists of 8 tiles arranged in a 2 x 4 rectangle. They are connected to each other by wires that run in diagonal grooves on the tiles. Each side of the puzzle has its own solution. One solution has 3 three separate rings with the 8 panels in a 4x2 grid (see above). When the reverse side is solved, the picture is of three linked rings with the 8 panels now in a 3x3 grid with one corner missing (see right). The aim is to alternately solve the 2 sides.
Size:
The puzzle measures 10.6cm x 21.2cm - the same size as a standard Rubik's Magic puzzle.
Packaging:
The cube comes in the manufacturer's cardboard and cellophane packaging. It is also wrapped in bubble wrap for protection during transit.
