The Dayan Zhanchi was used by Mats Valk (Netherlands) when he set the 3x3x3 world record of 5.55 seconds at the Zonhoven Open 2013 and also by Feliks Zemdegs (Australia) when he set the single solve world record of 5.66 seconds and the average solve world record of 7.64 seconds in 2011.. As soon as you rotate the cube a few times you realise why. It has astonishingly smooth rotational movement but is also very tight and sturdy. As a result, the cube is very resistant to popped pieces, the curse of the true speed cuber.
This cube is version 5 of the ZhanChi.
The cube has high quality vinyl stickers in standard colours.
The centre caps can be removed to allow the tension of the cube to be adjusted by loosening or tightening the tension screws.
Size & Weight:
The cube is the same size as a standard Rubik's Cube - 5.7cm3. The cube weighs approximately 0.11KG.
The cube comes in the manufacturer's original box. It is also wrapped in bubble wrap for protection during transit.
